Classical Guitars: Trinity Guitars Number 58: Player Response & Bent Top

This photo is the parts of Trinity Guitar #58 just before I started the assembly of the instrument. The bend in the top can be seen on the right side of the top. Look close at the end of the neck for the complicated joint needed for the bent top construction. Check back for more photos of #58 as I progress with the construction. This guitar features the Bent Top and Player Response system.
This photo shows the guitar being assembled in the Spanish heal construction method. This method makes the jointing for the bent top very tricky. Click on photo for larger image. Note the unique back bracing system.
Here we see the #58 guitar with the back assembled to it. I will now be working on the inlay of the binding and purfling on the body.

The finish will French polish with the top only French polish and the sides and back with a light over coat of lacquer over the French polish. The backs and sides are Indian Rosewood. The bindings are rosewood and the rosette is traditional. The guitar includes a deluxe plush lined plywood case with a case cover.
